Goss, Albert Robert
Born 5th February 1885 Sheffield Tasmania to Robert and Amelia Anna Goss (nee Sheridan) who was employed by the Tasmanian Government Railway he departed Hobart 8th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40th Infantry Battalion. Had previously been wounded on four occasions before he was killed in action 30th August 1918 and is commemorated in the Suzanne Military Cemetery No 3, France
