Goudie John

Born New Norfolk Tasmania the son of John and Elwja Goudie of 1 Henry Street West Hobart a labourer he enlisted New Zealand and embarked 26^th July 1916 with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force Otago Regiment 2^nd Battalion.

He was killed in action 2^nd August 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Messines Ridge (New Zealand) Memorial, Messines, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
