Graves George Patrick
Born 27th March 1889 Hobart Tasmania to Thomas and Isobel Graves (nee Elbert) a bushman who departed Melbourne 16th October 1915 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he was fatally hit by a shell 4th September 1916 at Moquet Farm and is commemorated in the Courcelette British Cemetery, France.
