Green, Claude

The son of John Green Launceston a 26 year old labourer living at Cygnet he embarked Hobart Tasmania 13^th December 1915 on board “HMAT Ajana” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 12^th Battalion when he was killed in action 8^th June 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the The Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial (Panel 7), Belgium
