Greene, Henry Cecil

Born 12^th September 1892 Montague Tasmania the son of Alfred Stanley and Constance Eliza Greene (nee Griffiths) a 24 year old farmer he embarked Melbourne 20^th October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 8^th January 1918 at Messines Belgium and like others with no known grave is commemorated on the The Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial
