Griffiths, Henry

Born 1889 Emu Bay Tasmania the son of John Henry and Lucy Griffiths (nee Elliot) a 25 year old labourer he embarked Fremantle 19^th April 1915 on board “HMAT Argyllshire” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the Anzac Provost Corps when he was killed in action 3^rd November 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the The Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.
