Griffiths Leslie John
The son of William and Mary Griffiths of Middleton a 21 year old labourer he embarked Melbourne 18th February 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 24th April 1918 and is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
