Grundy, Hedley

Born 6^th November 1894 Deloraine Tasmania the son of Thomas Buck and Flora Amelia Grundy a labourer who listed his sister Hazel Munday as his next of kin he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 3^rd January 1917 (previously reported missing) at Armentieres in France when he was hit by a shell and is commemorated in the Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres, Lille, France
