Haas, Thomas James
Born 20th January 1894 Ringarooma Tasmania to John Phillip and Elizabeth (Jane) Haas (nee Campbell) Between 1 Jul 1916 and 22 Aug 1916 he was aboard A35 "Berrima" between Hobart and Devonport. He shipped to England and trained at the 10th Training Battalion, before proceeding to France on the 23 Nov 1916. His Battalion was in action against the Germans, at the Somme, and he was subsequently killed in action on the 13 Dec 1916. He was buried about the 14 Dec 1916 at the Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres
