Haberle, Arthur Herbert

Born 16^th March 1899 Ulverstone Tasmania the son of Charles and Caroline Louisa Haberle (nee Banfield) a farmer he embarked Melbourne 20^th October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 3^rd November 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial.

His brother Pte Charles Henry Haberle of the 25^th Battalion returned to Australia on the 31^st August 1915.
