Haberle Christopher

 

Born 1890 Fitzroy Victoria the son of John Jacob William and Mary Jane Haberle (nee Abbott) a 23 year old butcher living in Launceston he embarked with the 12th Battalion later transferring to the   3rd Light Trench Mortar Battery

 

He was wounded at Pozieres (gunshot wound to the left thigh and gas gangrene) transferred to England and died 3rd August 1916.  He was buried in the Wandsworth Cemetery London.
