Haberle Christopher

Born 1890 Fitzroy Victoria the son of John Jacob William and Mary Jane Haberle (nee Abbott) a 23 year old butcher living in Launceston he embarked with the 12^th Battalion later transferring to the 3rd Light Trench Mortar Battery

He was wounded at Pozieres (gunshot wound to the left thigh and gas gangrene) transferred to England and died 3^rd August 1916. He was buried in the Wandsworth Cemetery London.
