Hack, Harry Alfred

 

Born 24th March 1888 Gretna Tasmania the son of Joseph and Louisa Sarah Hack (nee Stock) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 8th February 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 12th Infantry Battalioon.

 

He was killed in action 19th August 1916 in France (previously reported missing) and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux
