Hales, Raymond Angus

Born 26^th April 1893 Penguin Tasmania to James Henry and Eliza Hales (nee Hall)

He was a labourer and embarked Melbourne 29^th March 1916 onboard “RMS Orontes” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion

He was first listed as missing in action which was later changed to killed in action 14^th August 1916 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France
