Hardman, Roy

Born 17^th August 1893 Brighton Tasmania the son of Tasman Alfred and Isabella Hardman (nee Boyd) a farmer he embarked Melbourne 2^nd February 1915 on board “HMAT Clan McGillivray” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 5^th May 1915 on board Hospital Ship “Garcon” from wounds received on the Gallipoli Peninsula and was buried at sea. He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
