Harris, Arthur James

Born Sydney New South Wales the son of Arthur James Harris a horse trainer living at Gormanston Tasmania he enlisted 13^th September 1916 and embarked Melbourne 6^th December 1916 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 9^th April 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, Peronne, France
