Hawkins Roy Alfred

Born 28th June 1981 Mersey the son of George and Lucy Ann Hawkins (nee Triggs) a seaman was in New Zealand at the commencement of war and enlisted there. He served with the NZEF Main Body, 15th North Auckland Coy of the Auckland Regt. He was reported wounded and missing 5th June 1915 and on 31st January 1916 a court of enquiry found "now believed dead".
