Hayward, Ebenzer Joseph

Born 1893 Bridgewater Tasmania the son Frederick and Mary Ann Hayward (nee Marvell) a policeman he embarked Melbourne 11^th May 1917 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 15^th Machine Gun Company.

Cpl Hayward was killed in action 19^th September 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Cerisy-Gailly French National Cemetery, France.
