Heaton, George Fred
Born Glen Wills Victoria but living and working in Ulverstone when he enlisted August 1915 and was posted to the 12th Battalion. He was wounded in action at Fleurbaix France June 1916 then rejoined his unit December 1916. Wounded again and admitted to hospital 10th April 1917 suffering gunshot wounds to the back and left leg and died 6.45 the same day. He was buried the next day in the Achiet-le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension, France
