The News from Whitemore

This community was shocked when news of the death of Private Walter Heazlewood, at the front, came to hand.  He was the fourth son of the late C.B Heazlewood and Mrs Heazlewood of Hagley House.  Private Heazlewood left Tasmania last June 12 months.  He was well and favourably known being a prominent member of Whitemark cricket team.  He resided at Grenville Hagley prior to his enlistment.  Sympathy is expressed for the bereaved mother and other members of the family who have cause to be proud of the brave son and brother who did all a man could do in giving his life for his country
