Hehir, William John

He was born Launceston Tasmania a waterside worker who listed his next of kin his aunt Mrs Ellen Sellers of 58 Balfour Street Launceston he embarked Melbourne 27^th September 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 47^th Battalion when he died at the 3^rd Casualty Clearing Station France from a gunshot wound to the stomach and was buried in the Puchevillers British Cemetery, Puchevillers, Picardie, France
