Hehir, William John
He was born Launceston Tasmania a waterside worker who listed his next of kin his aunt Mrs Ellen Sellers of 58 Balfour Street Launceston he embarked Melbourne 27th September 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 15th Infantry Battalion.
He was serving with the 47th Battalion when he died at the 3rd Casualty Clearing Station France from a gunshot wound to the stomach and was buried in the Puchevillers British Cemetery, Puchevillers, Picardie, France
