Henderson, James Andrew

Born Kilburnie Scotland the son of Andrew and Margaret Henderson he arrived in Tasmania when he was sixteen years of age, a tramway conductor he embarked Melbourne 24^th November 1915 on board RMS Orontes with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 20^th December 1916 at the 3^rd Australian Field Ambulance in France from shell wounds to the body and head and is commemorated in the Bernafay Wood British Cemetery, Montauban, Picardie, France.
