Harry Lyell Henry

Born 20^th July 1897 Devonport Tasmania the son of Frederick Ormiston and Mary Alice Henry (nee Lewis) a grocer he embarked Melbourne 6^th December 1916 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He listed his next of kin as his brother Frederick Henry of Strahan Tasmania.

He was killed in action 4^th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
