Henshaw Clifford Osbourne

 

 

Born Zeehan Tasmania the son of John Henshaw married a miner he embarked Melbourne 25th October 1916 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 6th Infantry Battalion.

 

He died 23rd August 1918 in France from wounds received in he field and was buried in the  Heath Cemetery, Picardie, France

 

His brother Pte Ralph Henshaw No 1608 died 24th March 1916 in England from bronchial pneumonia and was buried in the Weymouth Cemetery, Weymouth, Dorset, England, United Kingdom

 

Private Clifford O Henshaw died on wounds on August 23rd.  Private Henshaw the second son of Mr and Mrs J. Henshaw Zeehan was 24 years of age. He leaves a wife and 2 children.  His brother Ralph was killed in action in 1916 and another brother John is still on active service.
