Hewitt, Brian Charles

 

 

Born Fingal Tasmania a farmer who departed Sydney 18th October 1914 on board “HMAT Afric” with the 1st Infantry Battalion

 He was listed as missing in action after the first day’s landing at Gallipoli which was later changed to killed in action 2nd May 1915 and is buried in the 4th Battalion Parade Ground Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey.
