Hewitt, Brian Charles

Born Fingal Tasmania a farmer who departed Sydney 18^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Afric” with the 1^st Infantry Battalion

He was listed as missing in action after the first day’s landing at Gallipoli which was later changed to killed in action 2^nd May 1915 and is buried in the 4th Battalion Parade Ground Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey.
