Hickman, Clarence Douglas
Born 23rd. February 1898 Old Beach Tasmania to James and Catherine Hickman (nee Harwood) he was a labourer when he enlisted. He departed Melbourne 24th August 1916 with the 12th Infantry Battalion on the “HMAT Botanist”.
He was killed outright by a very heavy shell in Polygon Wood. His body was not recovered at that time.
