Hite, Charles Ethelbert

Born 23^rd June 1885 Blackamoore Tasmania the son of William and Selina Harriet Hite (nee Hawley) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 27^th October 1915 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 12^th Battalion when he was killed in action 10^th April 1917 at Lagnicourt and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
