Hodgetts, Hector Lachlan

 

 

 

Born 15th February 1889 Cressy the son of Richard and Martha Hodgetts (nee Boxhall) a 26 year old farmer he embarked with the 12th Battalion later transferring to the 40th Battalion.

 

He died 30th August 1918 at the 41st Casualty Clearing Station from a gunshot wound to the back and was buried in the Daours communal Cemetery Extension France.
