Horne, John William

Born 20^th April 1896 Bothwell Tasmania the son of Thomas Alfred and Hannah Jane Horne (nee Ward) a labourer he embarked Hobart 13^th December 1915 on board “HMAT Ajana” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 3^rd September 1916 and is commemorated in the Courcelette British Cemetery, France.
