Hubbard, Stanley Morgan
Born 1st June 1897 Hobart Tasmania the son of George Maurice and Charlotte Anne Hubbard (nee Hogan) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 10th November 1915 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he died 7th September 1916 at the 44th Casualty Clearing Station France from shell wounds to the chest and legs and was buried in the Puchevillers British Cemetery, Puchevillers, Picardie, France HUBBARD. — Died of wounds in France, September 7, Stanley M. (Dudy) Hubbard, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Hubbard, Rock Side, Huon Road, aged 19 years. Loved by all. He did his duty, and gave his life.
