Humphrey, Norman Washington

 

 

 

Born 23rd May 1895 South Hobart Tasmania to William John and Nellie Humphrey (nee Carter) a labourer who departed Melbourne 24th November 1915 on board RMS Orontes with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

He was wounded in action at Pozieres 21st August 1916 and transferred to the 1st Eastern General Hospital England where he died 27th August 1916.  He was buried in the Cambridge City Cemetery, United Kingdom.
