Humphrey, Norman Washington

Born 23^rd May 1895 South Hobart Tasmania to William John and Nellie Humphrey (nee Carter) a labourer who departed Melbourne 24^th November 1915 on board RMS Orontes with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was wounded in action at Pozieres 21^st August 1916 and transferred to the 1^st Eastern General Hospital England where he died 27^th August 1916. He was buried in the Cambridge City Cemetery, United Kingdom.
