Hunn, Arthur Herbert

 

Private Arthur Herbert Hunn

 

Born 9th January 1887 Rhyndaston Tasmania the son of Edward William and Mary Jane Hunn (nee Hodson) a labourer who listed his brother E Hunn of Queenstown as his next of kin he embarked Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 9th August 1916 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France.
