Hunt, George Albury
Born 12th October 1878 Wattle Hill Tasmania to George and Ada Annie Hunt (nee Moore) a labourer who embarked Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion. He died 6th May 1915 at sea on board “Gloucester Castle” from wounds received on the Gallipoli Peninsula and was buried at sea. He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
