Hunt, George Albury

Born 12^th October 1878 Wattle Hill Tasmania to George and Ada Annie Hunt (nee Moore) a labourer who embarked Melbourne 22^nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 6^th May 1915 at sea on board “Gloucester Castle” from wounds received on the Gallipoli Peninsula and was buried at sea. He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
