Ives, Frank Solomon
Born 1895 Deloraine Tasmania the son of William and Rebecca Maria Ives (nee Kirkham) a bank clerk he embarked Sydney 9th May 1917 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 2nd Machine Gun Company. He died at the Caulfield Military Hospital Victoria on the 26th March 1918 of pulmonary tuberculosis and heart failure and was buried in the East Devonport Cemetery, Tasmania, Australia. THE FUNERAL of the late PRIVATE FRANK SOLOMON IVES will leave the West Devonport Wharf on arrival of SS Oonah, about 2 p.m. on FRIDAY, for St. Paul's Cemetery East Devonport.
