Jackson, Tasman Contencin
Born 1896 Hobart Tasmania to Edward and Mary Jackson of 294 Bathurst Street Hobart, a storeman he embarked Brisbane 5th October 1915 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 26th Infantry Battalion. Sgt Jackson was killed in action 3rd October 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gouy, France.
