Jacques, Alfred
He was the son of Mrs S Jacques Brisbane St Launceston, a moulder who departed Melbourne 10th November 1915 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He was with the 52nd Battalion when he was killed in action 3rd September 1916 and is commemorated in the Courcelette British Cemetery, France.
