Jaffray, William

Born 24^th April 1885 Derby Tasmania the son of William Park and Ellen Fanny Jaffray (nee Dodd) a timber worker he embarked Hobart Tasmania 8^th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 13^th October 1917 at Passchendaele in Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium
