Jago Hugh William

Born 1897 Deloraine Tasmania to Andrew Herman Hammond and Elizabeth Sarah Jago (nee Atkinson) and married to Ivy May Holmyard, a labourer who departed Melbourne 21^st October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Melbourne” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 7^th October 1917 from wounds received on the field and was buried Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
