Jago Hugh William
Born 1897 Deloraine Tasmania to Andrew Herman Hammond and Elizabeth Sarah Jago (nee Atkinson) and married to Ivy May Holmyard, a labourer who departed Melbourne 21st October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Melbourne” with the 40th Infantry Battalion. He died 7th October 1917 from wounds received on the field and was buried Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
