Jago, Gordon Henry

Born 20th April 1897 Deloraine Tasmania to Frederick George and Evelyn Mary Jago (nee Ayton) and was a labourer when he enlisted

He embarked Hobart on the 1st. July 1916 on the “HMAT Berrima” and was serving with the 40th Battalion in France when he was wounded at Passchendale.  He was to die from these wounds on the 7th June 1917.
