James, George Henry
Born Longford Tasmania the son of William and Sopia James (nee Lockhart) he listed his sister Sophia James as his next of kin he embarked Melbourne 21st August 1915 on board “HMAT Kyarra” with the 15th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 19th May 1918 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France His brother Sergeant Alick Thomas James 16th June 1917 from wounds received at Messines and was buried in the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, France
