Jenkins, Henry Charles

Born Albert Park South Melbourne Victoria but living in George Town Tasmania the son of Henry Jenkins of Lower Turners Marsh, a farm labourer he embarked Melbourne 17^th July 1915 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 26^th April 1916 in France and is commemorated in the Ration Farm Military Cemetery, La Chapelle-Darmentieres, France.
