Jenkins, Henry Charles

 

Born Albert Park South Melbourne Victoria but living in George Town Tasmania the son of Henry Jenkins of Lower Turners Marsh, a farm labourer he embarked Melbourne 17th July 1915 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 26th April 1916 in France and is commemorated in the Ration Farm Military Cemetery, La Chapelle-Darmentieres, France.
