Johnson John Frederick

 

 

Born 13th March 1877 Hobart Tasmania the son of John Mivear and Ann Jane Marshall and married to Blanche Caroline Stafford a bricklayer who was a member of the permanent artillery he embarked Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 14th Infantry Battalion.

 

Corporal Johnson was killed in action 29th May 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Shrapnel Valley Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula Gallipoli.
