Johnson, Amos Samuel

 

Born 16th August 1891 Port Frederick Tasmania to Thomas and Sophia Johnson (nee Munday) and married to Helena Marian Jeffrey with one child, a labourer, he departed Melbourne 2nd February 1915 on board “HMAT Clan McGillivray” with the 12th Battalion.

 He was killed in action 4th May 1915 and is commemorated in the East Mudros Military Cemetery, Greece.
