Keating Thomas Joseph

 

 

 

Born 14th December 1888 Hamilton Tasmania to Cornelius Joseph and Elizabeth Keating (nee Charles) he departed Melbourne 7th September 1916 on board “HMAT Port Sydney” with the 14th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 15th April 1917 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France

 

KEATING. — Killed in action in France on April 15, 1917, Thomas Joseph Keating, brother of Mrs J. W. Bird, Queenstown. Aged 28 years.
