Kerr, Ronald George
Born 23rd November 1893 Ringarooma Tasmania to William and Emily Ann Kerr (nee Bonser) a farmer who departed Brisbane 29th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action Russell’s Top, Gallipoli 29th November 1915 and is commemorated in the Ari Burnu Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey
Word has been received by Mrs D J Sainty of Branxholm that her son Ronald Kerr of Lietinna aged 22 years had been killed in action at the Dardanelles. The deceased was well known in Scottsdale and Lietinna and was a member of the Lietinna Football Club. The Weekly Courier 30th December 1915
