Kerr, Ronald George

Born 23^rd November 1893 Ringarooma Tasmania to William and Emily Ann Kerr (nee Bonser) a farmer who departed Brisbane 29^th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action Russell’s Top, Gallipoli 29^th November 1915 and is commemorated in the Ari Burnu Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey

Word has been received by Mrs D J Sainty of Branxholm that her son Ronald Kerr of Lietinna aged 22 years had been killed in action at the Dardanelles. The deceased was well known in Scottsdale and Lietinna and was a member of the Lietinna Football Club.
