Kidd, Marcey MacLeod

Born 1898 Launceston Tasmania the only son of Russell and Adelaide Matilda Kidd (nee Jackson) a bank clerk who embarked Melbourne 29^th March 1916 on board “HMAT Orontes” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52^nd Battalion when he died 15^th April 1918 from wounds received in the field and is buried in the Longpre-les-Corps Saints British Cemetery, France.
