Kidd, Marcey MacLeod

 

 

 

Born 1898 Launceston Tasmania the only son of Russell and Adelaide Matilda Kidd (nee Jackson)  a bank clerk who embarked Melbourne 29th March 1916 on board “HMAT Orontes” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he died 15th April 1918 from wounds received in the field and is buried in the Longpre-les-Corps Saints British Cemetery, France.
