King Stanley Byfield
Born 9th April 1896 Stanley Tasmania the son of Charles Nicholas King and Lucy Jessamine Perriman (nee Smith) a labourer he enlisted Queensland 24th June 1915 and embarked Melbourne 9th November 1915 with the 31st Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 20th July 1916 in France (previously reported missing) and is commemorated VC Corner Australian Cemetery and Memorial, Fromelles, Lille, Nord Pas de Calais, France
