Kitto James Victor

Born 8^th May 1886 George Town Tasmania to Thomas Luke and Hannah Maria Kitto (nee Bickham) he enlisted Waihi New Zealand and embarked 16^th October 1914 on board “Star of India” with the Auckland 1st Infantry Battalion bound for Suez Egypt.

He was killed in action 8^th May 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Redoubt Cemetery, Helles, Turkey.
