Knight, Herbert Harold
Born 22nd June 1891 Port Esperance Tasmania the son of Thomas and Anne Jane Knight (nee Gray) a sawmill hand he embarked Adelaide on board “HMAT Seang Bee” with the 40th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 4th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
