DEATH OF A SOLDIER

I regret to have to record the death of one of our Raminea soldiers. Private Tas. Knight was killed in action on the Western front. Tas. was a young man who was very highly respected by all who knew him. Until his departure from Raminea he was a teacher in the undenominational Sunday School. He was for some time a member of the band and was a member of the band committee from the formation until his departure. His father Councillor Wm. Knight of Verston Strathblane and all the family have the sincere sympathy of all the community
