Knight John

Born 7^th November 1885 the son of John and Gertrude Margaret Knight (nee Williams) of Evandale a 26 year old labourer he embarked Melbourne 29^th March 1916 on board RMS Orontes

with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 11^th December 1916 in France and like others with no known grave is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
